Job Title: Vehicle Logistics Officer

As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of services that meet our customers' needs. This involves maintaining service standards and providing continued support and advice for driving staff.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include scheduling, routing, and generation of driver runs, as well as liaising with customers and drivers to provide assistance where required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or previous experience in scheduling. They should also possess knowledge of route optimization and profitability, as well as working knowledge of SAP (preferably). Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of National Heavy fatigue laws and strong knowledge of the chain of responsibility.

A successful candidate will be able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, possess sound analytic skills, and be able to read reports. They should also have advanced computer skills and a strong focus on health and safety.
