Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an injury prevention and rehabilitation consultant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with injuries or illnesses return to work and achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To manage caseloads and provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions and outcome goals.
  • To develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs for employers and employees.
  • To work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to ensure effective case management.
  • To provide evidence-based psychological interventions and complete various assessments using your clinical skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health Discipline or Health Sciences, with a postgraduate qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Registration with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Full Membership with the Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA).
  • Clinical knowledge of pathologies and strong communication skills to build and develop relationships.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
