About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team at ClearCompany as a Field Service Diesel Mechanic. This is a permanent, long-term opportunity with a reputable OEM in Northern Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform warranty work, product support, fault finding, and diagnostics on diesel equipment.
  • Work on a range of equipment across various sites in Northern Queensland, including Mt Isa and surrounding areas.
  • Collaborate with the field service coordinator and site maintenance foreman to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Utilize a fully equipped modern field service ute to travel to sites and perform work.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience working in underground hard rock mining, primarily on underground Boggers, Trucks, and Drills.
  • Strong breakdown and first response problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of drill rigs and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong attitude towards work and safety.
