Job Title: Heavy Diesel Fitter

PNG Field Mining Services Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at a Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing underground equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our mining operations.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter with a minimum of 5 years of mine site experience. You will have a strong background in underground machinery and a proven track record of working with CAT R2900G Loaders and CAT AD45/55/60 Trucks. Expat experience is highly desirable, and you must be willing to work in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair underground equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Work collaboratively with a multinational team to achieve common goals
  • Develop and mentor the national workforce to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Pass a medical examination and Australian Federal Police Clearance prior to engagement
