This is a unique chance to shape an organisation's governance and compliance culture by implementing a proactive risk and compliance framework.
You will take ownership of building and embedding a robust risk management and compliance culture across AML/CTF, regulatory licensing, governance, and cyber risk.
- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of an organisation-wide risk and compliance framework.
- Act as the AML/CTF Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations and best practice in customer due diligence and transaction monitoring.
- Oversee compliance with liquor, gaming, and club licensing requirements, engaging with regulators such as Liquor & Gaming NSW.
- Design and embed an organisation's first enterprise-wide risk management framework, including risk registers, policies, and reporting structures.
- Partner with IT and Privacy functions to strengthen cyber and information security oversight.
- Drive internal/external audits, contractor/vendor compliance, and regulatory reporting.
About you:
- 8-15+ years' experience in risk, compliance, or regulatory roles in highly regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of AML/CTF obligations, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Experience in governance, WHS, workers' compensation, and return-to-work obligations.
- Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High integrity, strong analytical mindset, and hands-on approach.
