About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at a premium office location in Sydney's CBD.

You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth-running kitchen, preparing produce and products according to recipes, and managing inventory levels to prevent wastage.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining a rotating menu that caters to dietary needs and customer preferences
  • Preparing produce and products for various dishes according to recipes
  • Monitoring inventory levels, ordering supplies, and rotating stock to maintain freshness
  • Managing costs by minimizing waste and utilizing products efficiently
  • Ensuring food meets the correct standard for serving to customers
  • Responding to customer requests and feedback regarding food quality
  • Maintaining required records of HACCP, WH&S, and Financials
  • Providing on-the-job training to the culinary team on food preparation and safety procedures
  • Maintaining kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance issues
  • Promoting a safe, secure environment for all staff and visitors
  • Participating in an annual performance appraisal with the Manager

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chef De Partie
  • Experience in successfully leading teams/kitchen management
  • Past experience in Corporate Catering is highly desirable
  • Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation, and statutory obligations
  • Australian recognized qualification in the Culinary Arts or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP and allergen management, ideally with current NSW food safety supervisor certificate
  • Full and unrestricted working rights for Australia
