Network Planning Expert

The Role Overview

The Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the new network planning team to develop and implement growth strategies for the retail store network.
  • Evaluate market opportunities for fuel and non-fuel stores, preparing detailed assessments to inform business decisions.
  • Design, manage and update data-driven templates and reports for site evaluation and performance monitoring purposes.
  • Create, introduce and maintain GIS/spatial data sets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Source and manage relevant data for market research and assessment purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust project business cases and drive successful outcomes.
The Requirements
  • Experience in retail network planning, preferably client-side.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in market analysis and data-driven decision-making using best-in-class tools.
  • Experience in Store Impact studies and Project Implementation Reviews (PIR).
  • Excellent GIS (MapInfo) and spatial data management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders in a high-performance environment.
  • Commitment to enhancing customer experience and satisfaction through strategic network planning and optimisation.
