About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Assessor to join our team at Auto & General. As a Home Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing and reporting on building damage to domestic insured properties, providing accurate Scopes of Works for rectification works, and supporting our claims team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend clients' properties and accurately report on building damage
  • Provide accurate Scopes of Works for rectification works
  • Support our claims team with technical advice and recommendations
  • Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Determine and advise on the best method of repair
  • Adhere to company values and high customer service expectations
  • Conduct customer satisfaction checks
  • Manage complex and large loss claims
  • Meet key performance measures (KPIs)
Requirements
  • Experience in managing quality building work and enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of building methodology
  • Background in producing accurate scopes of works
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Reputable communication skills and conflict resolution handling
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and appraising builders
  • Proven experience in building effective business relationships with builders
