The role of an Administrative Support Officer is to provide assistance to the academic delivery team in ensuring high-quality administrative functions for student services and academic operations.
- Manage student queries and grade management
- Timetabling and supporting academic staff in delivering a seamless learning experience
- Contribute to policy adherence, course administration, and key academic processes
This includes:
- Academic Administration:
- Provide guidance on education policies and procedures
- Support academic staff in managing student complaints and grievances
- Organise payments for casual academic staff
- Conduct reviews of teaching materials and ensure they are accurate and accessible
- Assist with teaching allocations and timetables
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an academic services role within a higher education environment
- Prior experience in customer service or student engagement is highly regarded
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and a keen eye for detail
- IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office and learning management systems
