Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HSE Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

About The Position

The role provides Health, Safety and Environmental support for our Western Australia projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile rail infrastructure project as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to monitor and audit HSE performance, and provide expert advice to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide HSE support and coordination, and ensure effective communication and consultation with stakeholders.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions to promote HSE best practices and ensure a culture of safety.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance data, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience as a HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry (ideally rail).
  • Ability to build HSE capability and safety leadership of managers, employees, and contractors.
  • Ability to influence and drive safe behaviours and performance through building effective relationships and engagement.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organised and able to multi-task.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Experience gained in a client-facing role highly regarded.
  • A sound knowledge of the relevant State and Codes of Practice is essential.
  • Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety.
