Clough Group, a leading player in the construction and mining industries, is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join its team on the landmark Project Ceres urea plant in Western Australia. As a key member of the project team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of the project.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems to prevent incidents, injuries, and environmental harm.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the project team on HSE matters, including risk management, compliance, and training.
  • Collaborate with the HSE Manager to develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure the project team's compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and environmental concerns, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs to ensure the project team has the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely and sustainably.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits to ensure compliance with project HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of pre-qualification and tender packages, and emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate potential HSE risks, and develop strategies to prevent incidents and injuries.
  • Lead and participate in risk management activities to support the project's goal of achieving an incident and injury-free outcome.
What We're Looking For:
  • Territory qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in the construction or mining industry.
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices, and their application to the project.
  • Experience as a HSE advisor on major projects.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to develop relationships.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, balancing resources, priorities, and timescales to achieve objectives.
  • Proficiency with the MS suite of software and prior experience utilizing HSSE reporting systems.
