Nursing Care Specialist

The role of an Enrolled Nurse in aged care involves delivering high-quality care to elderly residents, assisting with daily activities and health management. They work closely with the healthcare team to ensure residents' comfort, safety, and well-being, while following care plans and ensuring best practice standards.
This is a part-time position working 40 hours per fortnight with shifts from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday across various residential facilities in the Northern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities- Implement aspects of the nursing care plan delegated by the registered nurse.
- Contribute to the nursing assessment of individuals and groups.
- Assist in the evaluation of progress toward expected outcomes.
Additionally, they must demonstrate successful interpersonal skills in relating to Residents, Families, Staff, and other Health Professionals, develop effective communication, team building, and accountability strategies, and lead, motivate, support, and manage the team.
