Chef Position at Panorama Motel

Central west food supplies Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Chef to join our dynamic Bistro & Bar team at the Panorama Motel in Bathurst, NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and serving of dishes, as well as designing menus and presentations for catering orders and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring quality and presentation are maintained throughout.

• Design and implement menus for catering orders and special events, considering dietary requirements and preferences.

• Monitor kitchen labour costs, food costs, and overall kitchen management, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

• Supervise and direct cooks and kitchen hands, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

• Source and order premium quality produce and ingredients, ensuring consistency and excellence in food quality.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Chef, with a strong background in culinary techniques and styles.

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and customer service.

• A creative eye for detail, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• A professional attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

What We Offer:

• A competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per annum.
