About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk Consultant to join our Melbourne or Sydney office. As a key member of our cutting-edge Cyber and Technology Risk practice, you will play a vital role in shaping the cyber risk landscape for our clients across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and lead technical assessments of clients' IT environments to identify security vulnerabilities and control/process weaknesses.
  • Conduct interviews with users and business leaders to gather information on IT risks and develop recommendations to mitigate them.
  • Leverage specialist knowledge to assess clients' technology environments and provide actionable insights to help them secure their technology platforms.
  • Manage on-site engagements, overseeing junior resources and client interactions, and collaborate with managers to develop high-quality reports and deliverables.
  • Present outcomes to clients and internal stakeholders for informed decision-making and review the quality of findings and recommendations.
Skills & Experience
  • A tech-savvy professional with experience in cyber and technology risk within an assurance or consulting environment.
  • Degree qualified in Technology is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of technology risks, including cyber security, change management, project management, and technology general controls.
  • Familiarity with global or industry-specific security frameworks such as NIST-CSF, ISO 27001 and CPS 234.
  • Experience with or interest in penetration testing, red teaming or incident response simulations.
  • Client-centric approach with excellent communication and presentation skills.
