Job Title: Senior Officer, Peer Support and Transition

The ideal candidate will design, implement and coordinate peer mentoring and transition programs tailored to the needs of commencing students within the Faculty.

This role involves collaborating with academic and professional staff to support the successful orientation and transition of students into their courses.

The successful applicant will develop and deliver inclusive, culturally safe, and accessible transition experiences for diverse student cohorts, including international, first-in-family, and underrepresented groups.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement peer mentoring programs
  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff
  • Develop and deliver transition experiences
  • Facilitate workshops and small group sessions

Requirements:

  • Degree with subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience in technical or administrative fields
  • Administrative experience working within a large organisation
  • Customer service or student administrative experience
  • Understanding of the student journey
