About the Role

The Mechanical Trades purpose is to deliver allocated work orders, including fault finding, repairs and servicing, as well as renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical check and police verification as part of the recruitment process.

Key duties
  • Perform and deliver allocated work orders with precision and timeliness.
  • Service, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes and winches etc.
  • Perform administrative tasks, document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network, including attendance at pre-start meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Report activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.
About You
  • Experience in Mechanical Trades across large maintenance programs and networks is essential.
  • A strong background in servicing technical mechanical assets, including actuators, gearboxes and pumps.
  • Hold a current C Class Driver Licence.
  • Possess a Trade Mechanical certificate.
  • Hold valid certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, First Aid and Gas testing, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights.
