Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Financial Strategy Director to spearhead the development and execution of our financial strategy.
About the Role:
- Create and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with our business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver financial plans, forecasts, and performance metrics
- Develop and manage relationships with key partners to support our financial growth
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our initiatives
- Align our financial activities with our overall strategic vision, driving business success
Your Background:
- A highly experienced finance leader with over 10 years in a senior role
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing financial strategies for new business establishments and joint ventures
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning, with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and risk management
- Experience in building relationships with key stakeholders in large complex organisations
- A background in shipbuilding, defence, or heavy industry (or similar)
