Lead Credit Risk Modeller

This is a unique opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Create and maintain credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, scorecards, rating models) with regulatory and internal governance standards in mind.
  • Develop automated tools and dashboards for model performance tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, finance, and business units to embed models into decision-making processes.

You will have the ability to:

  • Deeply understand credit risk modelling techniques and regulatory frameworks (IFRS9, Basel, APRA).
  • Utilise proficiency in R, SAS, Python, SQL, and Excel.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Apply intermediate to advanced data visualisation (R, Python or Power BI) and story-telling skills.
  • Possess a bachelor or postgraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Engineering).
  • Mentor junior team members and drive innovation in risk analytics.
