Senior Farm Hand Position in Merredin WA

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to join our team at our 8,000ha cropping program in Merredin, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of crop farming duties, including grain, hay, and straw operations, as well as machinery operation and mechanical maintenance.
About You:
- Must have experience with broadacre cropping;
- Previous machinery experience, including headers, balers, mowers, seeders, sprayers, tractors, and loaders;
- Mechanically minded with good knowledge of machinery maintenance and ability to complete it to a high standard;
- Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised;
- Honest and reliable, with good health and hygiene.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of $40, depending on experience;
- Standard working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, with extra hours required over peak periods;
- Accommodation: Brand new 2x1 house on farm, suitable for singles and couples;
- Work vehicle provided along with running costs for farm business use.
