The Role

We are seeking a Trading Desk Developer to join our rapidly growing technology team. As a Trading Desk Developer, you will work closely with the trading team on a tight release cycle, delivering improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of our trading platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions with almost immediate impact on our trading platform
  • Collaborate with traders to develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Develop technical skills across a broad array of disciplines, including trading interfaces, operations tools, algo enhancements, and performance tuning
  • Work in a constantly evolving environment with new challenges and opportunities to learn every day

Requirements

  • Development experience in Java, C++, or C#
  • Scripting language experience, preferably Python
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in financial markets
  • Strong academic record in a computer science degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field
