Software Engineer for Options Trading Desk

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is a global quantitative trading firm seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Options Trading desk. In this role, you will collaborate with Quantitative Research and Trading teams to design, develop, and implement trading signals, tools, and strategies used by the Options trading desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop client/server applications using Python and C# as primary development languages.
  • Take projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
  • Collaborate closely with core development/engineering teams for various aspects of quantitative analysis, trading strategies, and signals developments.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development (Python, C#, or Java) and 3+ years in backend systems level development (Python).
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Expert Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products.
