Job Title: Dining Room Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic dining room assistant to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thorough cleaning of the dining area, including tables and floors.
  • Assistance with food preparation and presentation.
  • Stock rotation and stock control.
  • Following all health and safety procedures when carrying out tasks.
  • Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard.
  • Assisting with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Head Chef.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume catering or kitchen environment.
  • Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen setting.
  • Knowledge of WHS guidelines.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in English.
