Job Description:

The primary role of the Healthcare Data Specialist is to provide high-quality data through effective management of FirstNet reporting, performance monitoring, and planning quality improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage information, including data security, basic user support, and maintenance of hardware and analysis of data to meet business needs.
  • Train staff across local health district sites in data management collection and reporting as required.
  • Provide expert Firstnet Data Consultancy practice and advice to healthcare professionals at hospital and area level.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, applicants should have demonstrated experience working with data collection, analysis, and reporting in a healthcare setting, preferably in an Emergency Department. Additionally, they should possess effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, consult, and negotiate with key stakeholders.
