Technical Expertise

As a seasoned technical advisor, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice on configuration management practices to support engineering and sustainment outcomes.

  • Apply Defence-standard CM principles to establish and maintain configuration baselines.
  • Support the assessment and implementation of engineering changes, deviations, and concessions.
Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses:

  • Providing technical input into assessments of fuel systems, mechanical assemblies, and related subsystems.
  • Contribute to configuration audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain CM documentation, reports, and registers in line with Defence standards.
Requirements
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related discipline) OR equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong technical background in fuel systems and/or mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical data packs, and configuration documentation.
