Role Overview:
  • Complete assigned compliance-based accounting work to meet client needs and contribute to effective practice management.
  • Review client files and information provided, preparing first draft financial and tax return documentation for management review.
  • Review and delegate compliance-based accounting and tax to junior staff within the team, leading to high levels of ownership and responsibility.
  • Manage clients directly where possible in respect of the collection of information, year-end queries, and delivery of financials and returns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce, majoring in accounting.
  • On your way to studying your CA/CPA qualification.
  • 2-3 years' experience in professional services.
  • Solid tax technical knowledge and accounting skills.
  • Ability to integrate with a team and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and tailor service.
  • Ability to use, navigate, and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages.
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
