Drainage and Pipelayer Crew Member

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced or up-and-coming pipelayers to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of urban development projects based in Brisbane, including drainage and road developments in subdivisions and main road upgrades.

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water mains. They should be capable of shooting and reducing levels using a dumpy level, able to set-up a pipe laser and read, interpret and understand plans and standards.

Prior subdivision and roading experience is highly regarded, as well as civil construction experience. A valid driver's license is also required. It would be advantageous if the successful applicant has confined space, quick cut and front-end loader tickets.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in laying sewer, storm water and water mains
  • Able to shoot and reduce levels using a dumpy level
  • Ability to set-up a pipe laser
  • Can read, interpret and understand plans and standards
  • Prior subdivision and roading experience
  • Civil construction experience (ideally)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Conferred space, quick cut and front-end loader tickets (advantageous)
