Job Overview:

The Vulnerability Scanning and Reporting Analyst will be part of a team responsible for undertaking complex and technical work, including maintenance, support, configuration, and provisioning of vulnerability scanning tools and infrastructure.

This role involves building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to manage the potential impact of vulnerability scanning on business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance, support, configuration, and provisioning of vulnerability scanning tools and infrastructure
  • Maintain and update documentation as required, including Standard Operating procedures, technical documentation, and end-user work instructions
  • Assist in the discovery and integration of new assets into scheduled Vulnerability Scans
  • Assist in the production of reports containing vulnerability information for consumption by technical stakeholders and management
  • Contribute to the development of plans to meet team objectives

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory: Extensive experience in ICT related fields, sound knowledge of expertise in at least one ICT Field (e.g., Servers or Desktops), sound knowledge of Networking, sound knowledge of Vulnerability Management, ability to work with limited supervision, good communication skills
  • Desirable: Formal industry ICT qualifications, tertiary ICQ qualifications, 5 or more years' experience in ICT related fields, system administration on Windows and Unix platforms, level of knowledge with Networking, prior experience as a Vulnerability Analyst, prior experience with managing staff
