About the Role

The YMCA Brisbane is a leading community organisation that aims to empower young people through sports and fitness. We are currently seeking an experienced Gymnastics Coach and Development Expert to join our team on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a safe and supportive environment for gymnasts of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes.
  • Set up equipment and ensure a well-organised class structure.
  • Monitor and maintain proper matting and safety procedures.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including accident reports and accounts management.
Requirements
  • Accreditation with the Queensland Gymnastics Association (minimum Level 1/Kinder Gym).
  • Fundamental, Intermediate, or Advanced Gymnastics Qualification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of gymnastics.
  • Demonstrated results orientation, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain.
  • Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
