About Our Care Team

We are currently seeking experienced individuals to join our care team as Aged and Disability Support Workers in Mandurah, Lakelands, Falcon, or Greenfields.

This role involves working in the community to support individuals to stay home and maintain independence. You will be providing one-on-one care to clients, focusing on engagement and assistance with daily living tasks.

As a member of our care team, you will have regular clients to connect with and ample shift length to provide safe and effective care. We value flexibility and offer opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes
  • Assisting with personal care, community access, domestic assistance, and other daily living tasks
  • Working autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks
  • Participating in ongoing education and training opportunities
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current industry knowledge and skills
  • A strong understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS Standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A high level of time management and organisational ability
  • Flexibility and willingness to participate in further education opportunities
Requirements

To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability, or similar qualification
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Working With Children Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Manual handling certificate (or current or willing to obtain)
  • Australian drivers licence and reliable car
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Medication administration qualification (current or willingness to obtain)
  • Understanding of the local geographical area
  • Previous caring experience
  • Monday and Wednesday availability
