We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledger accounts;
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements;
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare necessary reports.
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting;
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
