This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a skilled Emergency Medicine specialist at one of Australia's leading teaching hospitals.
The hospital, accredited with RACP and closely affiliated with the University of Tasmania, constantly attracts talented junior support staff. It provides specialist services to a population of around 250,000 people and serves as the referral hospital for the region, offering a wide range of specialty areas including general medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, psychiatry, urology, and oncology.
As part of a traditional firm of doctors, you will work alongside consultants, registrars, medical officers, and interns. Your shift pattern will depend on your rotation but typically includes a combination of days, evenings, and nights over a 7-day week. The hospital has experience working with overseas-trained registrars, making it easy to comply with AHPRA regulations and demonstrate supervision and monitoring in your placement.
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Registrar who can commit to full-time hours (38-43 hours per week) and a 12+ month fixed-term permanent contract.
