Job Overview

The HR Specialist collaborates closely with our People Operations team to provide expert HR advice to the business, oversee employee relations, contribute to remuneration and benefits initiatives, and enhance our company's work health and safety practices, all with the aim of fostering an exceptional employee experience and operational excellence throughout the organisation.

  • Taking ownership of complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, performance management, grievances, and investigations, requiring minimal guidance, while advising leaders on fair and compliant employment practices.
  • Enhancing OHS/WHS capabilities by improving policies, developing training content, ensuring compliance, and bridging knowledge gaps by working with the right stakeholders.
  • Driving annual remuneration benchmarking and performance review processes, to ensure fairness, pay parity, and market competitiveness.
  • Building trusted relationships with leaders to provide pragmatic, risk-aware HR advice that balances commercial needs, compliance, and best practice.
  • Leading and executing HR projects such as WGEA reporting, policy development, and system optimisation to drive efficiency and compliance.
  • Supporting the optimisation and integration of people systems, ensuring seamless processes and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing complex ER/IR cases with minimal supervision.
  • Buidling credibility with business leaders and operating as a trusted HR partner.
  • Applying employment law in the APAC region pragmatically.
  • E nsuring compliance and problem-solving with OHS/WHS requirements.
  • Delivering results through strong project management skills.
  • Working in fast-moving, complex organisations, particularly those in a growth or transformation phase.
  • Utilising data-driven insights for remuneration reviews, HR reporting, and working with HRIS platforms.
  • Thriving in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.
  • Identifying and bridging knowledge gaps across any HR function, working with the right people to ensure strong outcomes.
