We're looking for an experienced Commercial Business Development Manager to join our SaaS team. This role involves working closely with our customer success team to increase touchpoints with mid-market clients and drive business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial business development, with a focus on expanding customer value through the implementation of multiple projects and increasing user numbers.
You will work closely with our established clients to identify new opportunities for growth and leverage these relationships to expand customer value. In addition to driving business growth, this role also plays a critical part in mitigating potential churn risk for healthy accounts.
Your key performance indicators will be centered around these growth opportunities, ensuring that our customers are utilizing our technology effectively.
You will work closely with our CS team to handle larger opportunities, churn risks, and upgrades, allowing you to focus on reaching out to clients and building those valuable relationships.
The biggest challenge in this role will be pushing back from clients who may be unresponsive due to their busy schedules. Your task will be to ensure that every interaction is genuinely valuable and engaging.
This role has target-based remuneration benefits, but it's not a traditional sales role. Our goal is to help our clients utilize our technology effectively, and your role will be to close opportunities by highlighting the product value to the client.
