Senior Technical Architect Role

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join the Customer Success Group. The Technical Architect serves as a strategic advisor and Salesforce product expert, guiding architecture, integration, and delivery for large enterprise customers.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical consulting experience in major software domains and coding expertise. Analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes via technology is crucial for this role.

  1. Ensure scalable solutions that meet customer needs by applying deep knowledge of Web Services, Data Modeling, and Enterprise integration concepts.
  2. Guide business and technical requirements evaluation, fostering effective communication between stakeholders.
  3. Build strong relationships with key collaborators and team members to drive project success.
  4. Act as lead architect, coordinating work of multiple architects on the team to deliver complex projects.
  5. Align with project managers to support planning and implementation, ensuring timely completion.
  6. Review and guide project vision, implementation approach, and key artefacts to ensure quality outcomes.
  7. Direct solution evaluation, including proactive management of issues and engagement with executives to drive business growth.
  8. Hands-on application configuration to meet customer needs, delivering tailored solutions.
  9. Direct diverse teams in technical delivery and non-technical topics, driving innovation and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Australian Citizenship or NV1 clearance eligibility.
  2. Hands-on technical consulting experience for major software domains and coding experience.
  3. Analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes via technology.
  4. Guiding customers and project members in emerging technology adoption.
  5. Working independently and as part of a distributed team.
  6. Rapidly learning new technologies and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Detailed understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, and Enterprise integration concepts.
  2. Building relationships with C-level and mid-level decision makers.
  3. Experience as a Senior Architect in a matrixed organisation.
