Job Title: Social Work Educator

    We are seeking a passionate educator to join our team of lecturers in the School of Arts and Sciences. As a Social Work Educator, you will be responsible for leading units and contributing to the implementation of the Bachelor and Master of Social Work programs.


About the Role
  •     You will work closely with colleagues to develop curriculum and teach courses that promote best practice and high-quality research.
  •     The role requires excellent teaching skills, academic writing expertise, and a strong commitment to student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  •     Teach and lead units within the Social Work program, including Field Education.
  •     Contribute to excellence in teaching and curriculum development.
  •     Develop and implement innovative pedagogies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  •     Engage in scholarship of learning and teaching, publishing research in relevant fields.
  •     Assist in the management of campus Field Education programs, as required.

Requirements:
  •     Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  •     Proven experience in teaching and/or research in social work education.
  •     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •     A strong commitment to student learning and development.
  •     Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
