Company Description

We are seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance team at our open-cut coal mine in Central Queensland.

This is a full-time, permanent position available with an attractive roster and market leading pay rates.

The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert III in Engineering - Diesel Fitter or equivalent) and experience within a mining Mobile Maintenance Operations.

  • Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level.
  • Undertake troubleshooting, fault finding, breakdown and preventative maintenance on Heavy Mobile Equipment.
  • Achieve performance targets in compliance with statutory, safety, health and environmental requirements.

You will also need to hold a current Australian Manual Drivers Licence and minimum of C Class Manual Drivers Licence.

Bonus: You'll enjoy a 10,000 dollar yearly allowance for maintenance. An attractive overtime rate is also included in your offer.
