Medical Science Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will play a critical role in facilitating scientific exchange between industry and the scientific community, shaping the future of healthcare by providing needed information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge in oncology, engaging in continuous learning to maintain the highest level of technical expertise.
- Excel at customer engagement, providing deep and advanced disease state and product information to scientific experts, and connecting them with other Lilly resources or internal business partners as appropriate.
- Strategic vision and leadership, synthesizing complex data and effectively communicating meaningful clinical insights and unanswered customer questions to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams.
- Territory ownership, demonstrating strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to maximize efficiency, and executing the role in a compliant manner, adhering to all governing internal and external requirements, procedures, and laws.
- Previous MSL experience building relationships with Scientific Experts and Key Opinion Leaders in relevant therapeutic areas.
- Advanced degree in health sciences (Pharm D, MD, Ph D in a medically related field) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.
- Intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine for which they are responsible, learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content, and self-directed ability to work alone in the field, effectively managing multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship building and networking, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
