Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Expertise: Share your deep knowledge of disease areas and communicate complex scientific information with clarity and precision.
  • Drive Medical Insights: Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals, ensuring timely responses to their questions and providing valuable medical insights to refine our strategies.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of the medical landscape, capturing competitive intelligence and proactively sharing strategic insights with the team.
  • Educate and Empower: Implement medical tactical plans, support education initiatives, and contribute to scientific meetings and programs that help healthcare professionals stay informed.
  • Make a Real Impact: Support Early Access/Local Compassionate Programs that address high unmet medical needs and play a role in partner clinical research programs that advance medical knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Advanced tertiary qualification in a scientific discipline (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical scientific liaison role within Australia/New Zealand.
  • Experience in new product launches and execution of medical-scientific projects is ideal.
  • Deep knowledge of the Australian healthcare system, with experience in Oncology and Immuno-Oncology.
  • Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Medicines Australia Code of Conduct training completed.
