About the Role

The Warehouse Assistant/Storeman will play a crucial role in supporting the Spare Parts Department in maintaining efficient inventory control, picking and packing stock, and ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of customer goods.

Main Responsibilities
  • Inventory Control: Execute regular stock takes on both the main warehouse and Field Service Technicians' vans to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack and ship orders promptly and accurately to meet customer expectations.
  • General Warehousing Duties: Perform various tasks related to warehousing, including receiving inwards goods, unpacking overseas freight, and replenishing Field Service Technicians' van stock.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Forklift License: Hold a valid forklift license to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation and Autonomy: Demonstrate self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills to navigate inventory management systems and other software applications.
  • Manual Driver's License: Hold a valid manual driver's license to operate company vehicles.
