Emergency Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Consultant to join our team in a well-known regional health service. Located just 1.5 hours from Sydney, this role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.

About the Role:

This is a vital position that ensures the provision of emergency services that are safe, sustainable, and of excellent quality. As an Emergency Consultant, you will lead the delivery of emergency services in coordination with the Medical Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the clinical ED floor efficiently and respond to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls.
  • Engage in clinical governance activities, including morbidity and mortality meetings, quality improvement, teaching, and clinical audits.
  • Lead the delivery of emergency services in coordination with the Medical Services team.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification, as well as specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP.
