About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our dynamic team in Perth. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, tracking project costs, and creating reports to ensure budget targets are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the Cost Control System, project procedures, and CBS/WBS
- Estimate the impact of changes and modifications on project costs and potential revenue claims
- Provide project support by monitoring and reporting on cost, project progress, invoicing, change control, and variations
- Distribute initial budgets to discipline leads, procurement teams, construction, and installation activities
- Conduct analysis on risks and opportunities
- Follow up on commitments versus current budgets and report variances and potential impacts to PM/PCM and Technip Energies management
- Estimate overall costs and quantities to the end of the project
- Prepare and maintain project cash flow for the finance and treasury department
- Prepare payment claims and sales invoices
- Follow specific project/contract requirements and/or specific reports
About You:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cost Controller who possesses the following essential qualifications:
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Full understanding of cost control, management, and project reporting principles
- 4+ years of experience in cost control
- Previous project-based cost control experience is a strong advantage
- Prior experience working in the energy industry is desired
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- A detail-minded approach to work with strong cost analysis skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Effective interpersonal skills
