Cost Controller

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of project costs, including cost control metrics, forecasting, variance analysis, and project accounting.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage control budgets and estimates in line with project scope and work breakdown structure.
- Undertake project forecasting and estimate to complete, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Evaluate project cost performance and provide data on cost variance, trend, and risk identification.
- Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, and lead the compilation of the monthly progress claim.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager to review project status and forecasts.
- Assess variation and claims, and provide cost change management.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project accounting or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
