Locum Palliative Care Physician – Toowoomba Hospital, QLD

  • Daily Rate: Up to $2,603.70/day (inclusive of agency fees)

Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Locum Palliative Care Physician for a short-term contract at Toowoomba Hospital with the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive regional hospital environment, with registrar support, community and inpatient exposure, and the chance to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Role Overview

  • Provide inpatient consultation and care, community services, telehealth, and outpatient clinics.
  • Monday–Friday, 0800–1630, with 1 week on-call in every 3 weeks.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team with registrar support.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Availability for the full contract period
  • Two recent references (within 12 months, one from a current position)
  • Certified copies of driver's licence and passport
  • Medicare rebateable provider number (must be obtained before commencement)
