Disability Youth Worker Position

We are seeking a compassionate and person-centred Disability Youth Worker to join our team in Rockhampton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary support team, you will provide essential daily living assistance to young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outreach support to children and young adults with disabilities
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment contributing to the growth and development of individuals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create tailored support plans and interventions for clients
  • Empower individuals to build essential life skills and promote independence through supportive services

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A current Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle for travel purposes
  • Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Disability Support or related field
