Project Engineer Opportunity

The company is a leading national client involved in the infrastructure boom across Australia.

They have a pipeline of projects on the Eastern Seaboard operating across sectors such as Roads, Rail, Resources, and Renewable Energies.

A complex Water Infrastructure project is currently underway in Far North Queensland.

Due to increased workload, there is an immediate need for a Project Engineer for a 4-month contract based in Cairns.

Accommodation and a pool vehicle are provided.

This role offers exposure to a major pipeline project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development, implementation, and monitoring of Project Management Plans
  • Construction planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
  • Design constructability and compliance reviews
  • Management of subcontractors
  • Cost forecasting and financial management

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering role
  • Demonstrated experience in Civil or Mechanical Construction
  • Water Infrastructure experience is preferred
  • Experience with Tier 1 Contractors is advantageous
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Cairns for the duration of the contract
