About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Procurement Finance to join our Finance team at IPL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function for our Procurement department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making and drive financial performance.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with Procurement leaders to identify and prioritize financial initiatives and projects that drive business value.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Performance Management: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement changes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Leadership: Lead a team of financial analysts and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial planning and analysis activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA) with >3 years post-qualified experience in finance roles.
  • Experience: Finance business partnering experience with ability to build collaborative working relationships with internal business customers.
  • Skills: Excellent critical and analytical thinking, self-starter with a high level of motivation for driving performance of the business, the team, and themselves.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills and experience of leading a team.
  • Communication: Excellent communicator at all levels.
