Full-time Carpenter Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Blue Label Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine blueprints and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and construction techniques
  • Read drawings and sketches to understand material and construction requirements
  • Determine materials needed for each job
  • Take measurements and calculate material quantities
  • Cut and shape building materials according to measurements
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
  • Lay out floorings, roofing, or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures
  • Assemble and fasten materials to erect framework
  • Install structures and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Relevant certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
  • Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
Remuneration:

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
