Found People is a leading recruitment agency specializing in construction and trade professionals. Our clients are top-performing companies in the industry, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Carpenter Team Lead to join their team.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and growing construction company. As a Senior Carpenter Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing on-site leadership to a small team working on commercial or residential projects. You will typically be on a project for 2-3 weeks, leading a team of two other carpenters and two apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of skilled carpenters and apprentices on commercial or residential projects
  • Read and interpret construction plans to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Take instruction from the Project Manager and make decisions to drive project success
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Leadership capabilities and a hunger for career advancement
  • A trade background, preferably as a carpenter
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
