Community Care Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Community Care Assistant to join our team in providing support and assistance to individuals in need.

  • This is a permanent role with a comprehensive traineeship program, which includes on-the-job training and certification in Certificate III in Individual Support.

No prior experience or qualifications are required, as we provide full training and support. You will be working with clients who require assistance with domestic duties, personal care, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Domestic Assistance: Cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks
  2. Bed making, room tidying up, and maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment
  3. Shopping and completing weekly/fortnightly shopping for clients
  4. Transportation: Taking clients to and from appointments in the community
  5. Personal Care: Showering, dressing, grooming, and assisting with daily living activities
  6. Respite and Social Support: Providing companionship and social interaction to clients

Requirements:

  1. A great attitude and willingness to learn and work
  2. Reliable and clear communication skills
  3. Ability to pass a National Police Check and NDIS Workers Check
  4. Hold a current SA Driver's licence, have a reliable vehicle, and insurance
  5. Full Australian Working Rights and be an AU/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
