About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Civil Plant Operator to join our team at Borg Manufacturing. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for operating plant machinery to assist with property maintenance and construction of new facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple earthmoving machines, including excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, and Bobcats.
  • Assist in all aspects of Civil works, including installing stormwater drainage and pits, sewerage and service pipes.
  • Set up and use dumpy levels and set pipe lasers for laser levelling.
  • Perform rock hammering, excavation, trenching, piering, bulk excavation, and levelling tasks.
  • Operate GPS final trim equipment.
  • Work in a team environment and independently, with high attention to detail.
  • Hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) and a current driving licence.
  • Be physically fit to undertake manual tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating earthmoving machines and relevant tickets (if applicable).
  • Experience in all aspects of Civil works.
  • Experience in installing stormwater drainage and pits, sewerage and service pipes.
  • Laser levelling experience with the ability to set up and use dumpy levels and set pipe lasers.
  • Experience in rock hammering, excavation, trenching, piering, bulk excavation, and levelling.
  • GPS final trim experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, with high attention to detail.
  • Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).
  • Current driving licence and own transport.
  • HC (Unrestricted) Licence (an advantage).
